Alta Manufacturing Hosts Successful Technical Event

Alta manufacturingAlta Manufacturing, a leading contract manufacturer specializing in NPI to pilot production of complex PCBs, announces that it successfully hosted its first technical event of 2010 on February 2. More than 40 guests were in attendance at the “Lunch & Learn” event.

Mr. Sam Pirayesh, Engineering/General Manager and Technical Speaker for Compaq, was the guest speaker. Compaq is the sixth largest PCB manufacturer in the industry with locations in the United States, China and Taiwan, and the largest producer of HDI and microvia technology. This was a beneficial and interactive 90 minutes for Alta’s OEM guests, and was followed by a factory tour lead by Craig Arcuri, CEO.

Attendees also learned about HDI PCB design and manufacturing solutions, as well as PCB materials and the science behind it. The sessions were closed with a Q&A period.
