Highlighted at this year's Assembly & Automation Technology Expo will be PVA’s MX4000 Gear Pump Meter-Mix Dispensing System. The MX4000 is a robust system designed to control non-abrasive meter-mix dispensing applications such as; potting and encapsulation, conformal coating, form in place gasketing, laminating, sealing, and adhesive / assembly operations. Used in automotive, electronics, solar & wind energy, aerospace, and other industries, the gear pump processes a wide range of adhesives and sealants while providing continuous material flow with no recharging necessary.
For repeatability and dispense volume accuracy, closed loop servo drives enable the operator to program the mix ratio, shot size, flow rate, pressure control, vacuum degas, recirculation, and auto purge functions via a menu-driven HMI.
Also included with PVA’s MX4000 System are the integrated features; continuous pulse-free flow, high pressure capability up to 4000 psi, wide viscosity range to 3 million cps, and superior resolution as pumps are sized to each requirement, all allowing the system to be customized to specific applications.
