The top-of-the-line Siplace X4i, currently the world’s fastest four-gantry placement solution, and the equally powerful and cost-effective machine of the Siplace D-Series will prove their outstanding placement quality and high level of flexibility for small and medium lot sizes.
The experts of the Siplace team will demonstrate how non-stop product changeovers, process quality of zero dpm and the world’s fastest new product introductions can be implemented with the company’s software and services.
As usual, the Munich-based technology leader will attack the market head-on: With the company’s comprehensive ‘Compare’ lists, customers can easily compare all relevant performance and cost aspects side-by-side with those of other manufacturers.
With its Siplace X4i, Siemens will present to the show visitors in Nuremberg the current world record in real placement performance with more than 102,000 components per hour (cph) measured in accordance with the international IPC standard. This corresponds to 120,000 cph as per the Siplace benchmark measurements and a theoretical placement performance of 135,000 cph.
Important for European electronics manufacturers: the Siplace X4i combines this exceptional speed with high flexibility, thanks to features like synchronous and asynchronous dual conveyors, intelligent X-feeders, Productivity Lane and i-Placement.
With its outstanding price-performance ratio, the Siplace D-Series is predestined for electronics manufacturers in the mid-sized market segment who don’t want to make compromises in terms of quality. The D-platform features the same digital vision system as the high-end X-Series machines.
D-Series machines process the complete component spectrum – down to the smallest 01005 components of the next generation – with the same efficiency and maximum placement accuracy.
Siplace also provides the show visitors with practical help for evaluating their investment decisions. Electronics manufacturers can download the Siplace ‘Compare’ checklists from the company’s website before the show or pick them up at the booth. These lists make the comparison of different manufacturers’ solutions a lot easier by taking all major investment decision aspects into account.
The ‘Compare’ lists are merely one of many factors that make it abundantly clear: software and services open up new opportunities for users, increase line productivity and increasingly make the difference when users compare various equipment manufacturers. Consequently, Siemens underscores its technology leadership in software as well.
In Nuremberg, electronics manufacturers will learn how the external Vision Teaching Station lets them recognize and describe new components quickly and accurately and how placement programs can be created and optimized offline without having to access the production line while it’s busy churning out products. In combination with Siplace Calibration Services, zero-dpm process quality can thus be achieved shortly after the production start.
In live presentations, the Siplace specialists demonstrate how the unique Siplace LES software makes non-stop setup changeovers possible even for small lots – a worldwide first – and maximizes the productivity of the entire line.
Siplace rounds off its show program with information about its traceability concepts and its portfolio of Siplace services ranging from Calibration Services and Feeder Care to customer-specific and success-oriented all-inclusive packages.
