André Myny has been appointed Global Marketing Director of Koh Young Technology Inc., a global leader in 3D measurement & inspection technology, effective on March 1, 2008, it is announced today. André brings more than a decade of marketing experience in the global circuit board assembly industry to his new position.
In making the announcement, Dr Kwangill Koh, CEO and President of Koh Young Technology Inc., said, “André brings strong leadership in Marketing Management. His demonstrated success developing marketing on a global scale will be an asset to Koh Young. His extensive experience both as an equipment user and marketer will be an invaluable asset.” André Myny will work out of the Koh Young European Operation at Raamsdonksveer, the Netherlands.
Prior to joining Koh Young, André Myny directed global marketing for Vitronics Soltec from 1994 to 2007. He developed the business into a globally-based technology and market leadership position. He began at Vitronics Soltec as Regional Sales Manager. He held positions in Sales, Customer Service and Marketing. Prior to his position at Vitronics Soltec, he served as project manager in automation for various companies, and successfully led their project teams to execution.
Myny’s experience also includes global sales, marketing, engineering, and project management of circuit board assembly operations at several Philips facilities from 1990 to 1994. He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from HTS, Ostend and several Marketing degrees.
Koh Young specializes in the design and manufacturing of 3D measurement & inspection equipment for the global circuit board assembly market, including solder paste inspection.
