Developed as an extension to its existing annual exhibitions, IPC Midwest Conference & Exhibition in September and soon IPC APEX EXPO™ in April, the new online exhibit hall expands the selling and buying cycle to year round, rather than just during the few months prior to or after the trade show.
“We want to better connect visitors with our industry’s top suppliers in order to help them make informed buying or business decisions throughout the year,” said Sarah Martino, exhibit operations manager with IPC.
“In developing our new online exhibit hall, our ultimate goal was to create an organized and intuitive site that anyone could navigate with ease.” Visitors to http://www.IPCMidwestShow.org/exhibitors will discover company information, new product descriptions, photos and even links to audio and video at their fingertips.
Best of all, product searches by category or keywords enable visitors to pull competitive information together easily, without having to travel to multiple sites. “The site is a wonderful way for attendees to prepare for our upcoming shows,” said Alicia Balonek, IPC director of trade show operations.
“Unlike other shows which may draw a large number of tire-kickers to the exhibit floor, the majority of the attendees at IPC Midwest and IPC APEX EXPO™ are there to do business and make purchases. So, one of the features we’ve added, called My Midwest, enables attendees to create their own personalized plans for visiting the exhibitors they need to see and viewing all the exhibitors’ pertinent information … even their exact locations on the show floor.”
As an added benefit to all industry members, the new online exhibit hall is accessible even to those who are not able to attend the upcoming shows. “There’s a wealth of supplier information available that makes the search for equipment or supplies so much easier,” said Balonek. For exhibitors, the new online exhibit hall is a value-added benefit.
