PROMATION Develops PASS/FAIL Sorting Magazine System for Batch AOI

PROMATION announces that it has developed a dual magazine handling solution with slide shuttle that is excellent for sorting suspect PCBs after AOI. This solution provides for PASS/FAIL sorting when AOI is utilized in a batch or end-of-line process.

The SCUD-66PF accepts PASS/FAIL signals through a modified SMEMA interface and places the PCB into the proper magazine location (Good or Suspect) after inspection.

This is a dual magazine handling solution and has automatic recirculation of full magazines. Each station has selectable pitch, and may be built to handle most magazine sizes. The slide shuttle incorporates a precision ball screw and servo drive to ensure accurate alignment.
