Management change at Munich International Trade Fairs

By mutual consent with executives at Munich International Trade Fairs, former Managing Director Hans-Joachim Heusler will leave Munich International Trade Fairs as of July 15, 2008 and take over as Managing Director of Bayern International (Bavarian Bureau for International Business Relations) effective the same date.

Consequently, at Munich International Trade Fairs' corporate meeting, Dr. Reinhard Pfeiffer, former Managing Director of Bayern International, was appointed Managing Director of Munich International Trade Fairs as of July 15, 2008.

Otherwise, the composition of the Management Board at Munich International Trade Fairs remains unchanged with Manfred Wutzlhofer as Chairman/CEO, Norbert Bargmann and Klaus Dittrich as Managing Directors and Eugen Egetenmeir as Deputy Managing Director.

Effective immediately, Klaus Dittrich will assume responsibility for analytica and its foreign exhibitions, events that he was responsible for until 2006.

Klaus Dittrich has been Managing Director at Munich International Trade Fairs (MMG) since February 2003. He first came to MMG as Deputy Managing Director in April 2002. As a member of the Management Board, he is currently responsible for the trade fairs in the business unit for New Technologies.

They include analytica, electronica, Productronica, Laser and SYSTEMS in Munich as well as analysis, electronics and laser exhibitions in Brazil, China, India and Vietnam. Klaus Dittrich is also responsible for Human Resources, Sales in Germany, coordinating company-wide MarCom activities and the company's in-house IT infrastructures.
